Best semaglutide providers online

Semaglutide is the most widely prescribed GLP-1 for weight loss, sold as brand-name Wegovy and Ozempic and as compounded copies. Every provider on this page prescribes it in injectable or oral form. Where a provider supplies a compounded version, we say so - because a compounded product has not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality.

How we ranked these

Providers that prescribe semaglutide in any form qualify. They are ranked on our overall score, and each entry states plainly whether you are buying an FDA-approved product or a compounded one.

1

CoreAge Rx

$99/mo9.6/10
FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide and tirzepatide

Best point: Comprehensive care

Watch out for: Higher pricing

Membership fee: None. CoreAge states "No membership fees ever" and that your refill price never changes.

2

Wegovy Pill

$149/mo9.2/10
FDA-approved medicationoral semaglutideInsurance acceptedHSA/FSA

Best point: First FDA-approved oral GLP-1 for weight loss

Watch out for: Newly approved - limited real-world data

3

Wegovy

$349/mo9.1/10
FDA-approved medicationsemaglutideInsurance acceptedHSA/FSA

Best point: FDA-approved for chronic weight management

Watch out for: Requires prescription and monitoring

4

NovoCare Pharmacy

$149/mo9/10
FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide and oral semaglutideInsurance acceptedHSA/FSA

Brand-name Wegovy and Ozempic straight from Novo Nordisk's own pharmacy, from $149 a month for the pill and $199 for the pen, with free delivery. This is the benchmark every compounded plan should be measured against.

Best point: Brand-name Wegovy and Ozempic bought direct from the manufacturer's own pharmacy, so there is no question about what is in the vial or the bottle

Watch out for: The $149 pill price is tied to specific doses: patients pay $149 for each month of 1.5 mg and 4 mg, and the 4 mg offer runs only until 31 August 2026, after which 4 mg is $199 per month

Membership fee: None

5

Ozempic

$349/mo8.9/10
FDA-approved medicationsemaglutideInsurance acceptedHSA/FSA

Best point: FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes

Watch out for: Approved for diabetes, not weight loss

6

Form Health

$299/mo8.8/10
FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide and tirzepatideInsurance accepted

Best point: In-network with most major private insurance plans and Medicare, so Care Team visits, lab tests and medication are billed through insurance and you pay only your copay or deductible. Almost no other provider on this site accepts insurance at all

Watch out for: On the $299/month self-pay plan the fee covers the care team and platform only - medication cost is separate and on top, so the true monthly outlay can be far higher than $299

7

Circle Medical

$35 per visit8.7/10

What that price buys: Average out-of-pocket cost per appointment for patients with accepted insurance. Medication is billed separately by your pharmacy.

FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide, tirzepatide and oral semaglutideInsurance acceptedHSA/FSA

Best point: It bills your insurance instead of asking you to forget insurance exists. Circle Medical states it is in-network with most commercial plans

Watch out for: Your cost is whatever your plan says it is. $35 is an average, not a price - deductibles and exclusions can leave you paying far more

Membership fee: None. The site states there are no memberships or hidden fees.

8

Sesame Care

$59 membership8.7/10

What that price buys: The $59 is the recurring "Success by Sesame" programme fee, and it depends on a 12-month commitment whose annual fee is explicitly non-refundable once paid. Medication is not included: Sesame publishes those prices separately and dose by dose, so the real monthly outlay is the subscription plus the drug.

FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide, tirzepatide and orforglipronInsurance acceptedHSA/FSA

Best point: Publishes cash prices dose by dose, which no other provider on this site does. Zepbound KwikPen is $299/mo at 2.5mg, $398 at 5mg, $499 at 7.5mg and $698 at 10-15mg, so you can see exactly what titrating up will cost before you start

Watch out for: The $59/mo headline depends on a 12-month 'Success by Sesame' commitment, and the annual fee is explicitly non-refundable once paid - cancel in month two and you do not get the remaining ten months back

9

Henry Meds

$179/mo8.7/10
Compounded - not FDA approvedsemaglutide and tirzepatide

Best point: $179/month is genuinely all-in. Henry states the price 'includes the cost of your provider visits, medication, supplies, and ongoing support' - there is no separate membership fee stacked on top, which is the trap several competitors rely on

Watch out for: Cancelling early can cost you. The terms note you 'may be required to pay out the rest of your balance unless you're unable to continue for medical-related reasons as determined by a healthcare provider', so a plan is not simply walk-away

Membership fee: None separate. Henry describes one monthly payment covering the provider visit, medication, supplies and ongoing care.

10

FuturHealth

$225/mo8.7/10
FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide and tirzepatideHSA/FSA

Best point: Advanced technology

Watch out for: Higher pricing

11

Ro

$149/mo8.6/10
FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide and tirzepatideInsurance accepted

Best point: Prescribes FDA-approved, brand-name GLP-1s - Zepbound, Wegovy pen and pill, Ozempic, Saxenda and the new Foundayo pill - rather than compounded copies

Watch out for: The membership fee does not include your medication. At $149/mo month-to-month plus $449/mo for a maintenance dose of Zepbound, the realistic all-in cost is roughly $520-600 a month

Membership fee: The Ro Body membership is $39 for the first month, then $74-$149/month depending on the plan you choose - $74/month requires an annual prepaid plan. The $39 is refunded if you are not eligible for GLP-1s.

12

Noom Med

$149/mo8.6/10
FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide and tirzepatideHSA/FSA

Best point: Psychology-based approach

Watch out for: Requires Noom subscription

13

Precision Telemed

$150/mo8.6/10
Compounded - not FDA approvedsemaglutide and tirzepatideHSA/FSA

Compounded, but at a genuinely flat $149.99 covering every dose from 0.25 mg to 2.5 mg, from a named 503A pharmacy with cold-chain shipping.

Best point: Flat pricing that does not climb as you titrate: $149.99/month covers compounded semaglutide from 0.25 mg through 2.5 mg, and $249.99/month covers tirzepatide from 2 mg through 15 mg

Watch out for: The headline product is compounded, not FDA-approved. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy or manufacturing quality

Membership fee: None separate from the plan price - the site states everything is included and no subscription is required

14

PlushCare

$20 membership8.5/10

What that price buys: The $19.99 is a monthly PlushCare membership, and it does not include the appointment. Visits are charged on top: most in-network insured patients pay $30 or less, and an initial visit without insurance is $129. Medication and lab costs are separate again - PlushCare states they "are never included".

FDA-approved medicationsemaglutide, tirzepatide and liraglutideInsurance accepted

Best point: Accepts insurance, which almost nothing else on this site does. Most in-network patients pay a copay of $30 or less for a visit

Watch out for: The $19.99 membership buys access, not medication. Without insurance coverage the GLP-1 itself can run about $1,000 a month, which PlushCare states openly but which makes the headline price misleading if read as a treatment cost

Membership fee: $19.99 per month, with the first month free and cancellation any time.

15

HealthRX

$133/mo8.5/10
Compounded - not FDA approvedsemaglutide and tirzepatideHSA/FSA

Best point: Efficacy claims are cited to the actual trials with duration and source: 'Average 15% body-weight loss at 68 weeks in STEP-1' for semaglutide and 'Average 21% body-weight loss at 72 weeks in pivotal phase-3 trial' for tirzepatide, referencing NEJM 2021, each followed immediately by 'Not FDA-approved'

Watch out for: The '4.8 · 12,000+ members' rating shown in the header has no traceable source - we found no Trustpilot profile for the domain and no other public review platform carrying it

Frequently asked questions

How much weight can you lose on semaglutide?

In the STEP trials, adults with obesity taking semaglutide 2.4 mg lost an average of about 15% of body weight over 68 weeks alongside diet and exercise. Those results come from full therapeutic doses of the FDA-approved product, not from microdoses or compounded formulations, which have no equivalent trial evidence.

Is compounded semaglutide the same as Wegovy?

No. Compounded semaglutide is prepared by a compounding pharmacy and is not FDA-approved, which means the agency has not reviewed it for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality. It may use a different salt form, a different concentration or added ingredients. It is not a generic and it is not interchangeable.

What is the cheapest way to get semaglutide?

If your insurance covers Wegovy, that is almost always cheapest. Failing that, NovoCare Pharmacy sells brand-name Wegovy direct at published self-pay prices, which has closed much of the gap that made compounded semaglutide attractive in the first place. Compare that number against any compounded plan before assuming compounding is the budget option.
